Explorers
Explorers is for girls age 5 to 8. They meet at Ash Village Hall from 5:30pm to 6:30pm during term time. During the hour various activities take place including craft, games, a programme of varied badgework and listening to bible stories. The badgework provides an opportunity to learn all sorts of useful things for daily life.
This group is currently suspended due to low numbers. We are keen to resume the group as soon as possible. If you have a daughter or son in school years 1, 2 or 3 who may be interested in joining, please get in touch.
Junior Section
Junior Section is for girls age 8 to 11. They meet at Ash Village Hall from 6:30pm to 8:00pm Friday evenings during term time. The girls follow a structured badgework programme which provides scope for a wide range of activities. Also on a Friday evening time is devoted to drill, devotions, and last but definitely not least playing games.
Senior Section
Senior Section is for girls age 11 to 14. They meet at Ash Village Hall from 8:00pm to 9:30pm on Fridays during term time. The girls follow a programme of structured badgework which tries to provide them with useful skills and knowledge for later life. Time is spent playing games and continuing to develop the drill started in Junior Section. We also have discussions on various topical issues.
Brigaders
The Brigader Section is for young women age 14 to 18. They meet at Ash Village Hall from 8:00pm to 9.30pm on Fridays during term time alongside the Senior Section. The girls continue a programme of structured badgework and have the opportunity to attend Young Leaders courses and then to help with the running of the Explorers, the Junior Section and the Senior Section.
